Appalachian University Systems has been supplying colleges and universities with furnishing since 1992 and our owner has been working in the market for over 25 years. We are a family owned business that delivers directly from the factories to the client. We began supplying furniture throughout the Southeastern region of the United States and we now operate from coast to coast.

Appalachian has grown into a "full service" company providing. We can provide space planning for your dormitory rooms, apartments, and community spaces. We will also help you select finishes, furniture, and accessories for your space and will provide design options for you to choose based on your aesthetic preferences and the architecture of the space.

Our company has a large variety of manufacturing capabilities. Our solid wood case goods are built of red oak, white oak, maple or ash. We also offer products in wood veneers, high pressure laminates, metal, or a combination of any of these. We build furniture to the highest quality standards in the industry including mortise and tenon construction on the case and fully dovetailed drawer boxes. Appalachian is primarily a "custom" furniture company that designs and builds to your needs and specifications. However, we do offer some standard furniture lines that are stocked and available on a more "quick ship" timeline.
